Happy Lunar New Year, My dearest friends.. This year, we welcome the Rat year.. and its MY year wor.. Im born in the year of the RaT~~ *That explains the reason why i hated cats so much*
I always love chinese new year cuz this is the time whereby we can shop for nice new clothes, do manis and pedis and the best of all, receive ang baos.. bet all of u had collected quite a no. of ang baos eh~
Other than that, lunar new year also signifies "Reunion", cuz this is the time, all of our relatives will gather together..
Actually, im closer to my mother's side of relatives rather than daddy's~ maybe its the age gap or whatsoever, they have more kids and they are all so young~ and i always find that sitting through at granny's house is a torture, cuz im like a statue and I'm not close to my cousins either.. me and sis usually talk among ourselves rather than mingle around with the others..
but things are so different, at mummy's side.. even though i gt to see my cousins once a year, even though, my age gap with them are more than 5 years apart.. but we still blend well.. maybe its because, we hanged around most of the time, when im younger, maybe becuz is grandma who looked after me and im closer to my uncle and aunties..
and i will always look forward to see them again.. cuz they feel more like families rather than strangers...
this is the time of the year, that i always look forward to, able to see them and talk to them.. i will always hold them dear to my heart~ without fail!
